Favourite "The Simpsons" quotes « Result #1 Today at 10:23am »
I'm sorry if this is a bit spammy... but I watched a Simpsons marathon today and I realized how smart and creative the lines are. The scriptwriter deserves a raise.
So anyway, here are some of my favourite quotes: Homer: "Isn't marijuana illegal?" Dr. Hibbert: "Only for those who enjoy it. Heh-heh-heh."
Homer: "We're gonna have to stop medical marijuana being outlawed. Marge, I'm gonna need 10000 veggie burritos." Otto: "I want mine with guacamole." Marge: *sighs* "Goodnight, Homer." *pause* Otto: "Whoa, your mum is hot."

Thanks - Flash is really easy, honestly; have a look on Adobe's site for a trial and just mess with it.
I think I know where your going, a sort of more "analog" rotation? I thought, I'd keep it really simple in the terms of animation for two reasons, it's gonna be stuck in a sort of ClipArt for web masters who'd benefit from this sort of thing, and with the whole clip art thing, I'm looking at maybe several hundred SWF animations, so time's a short.
I did experiment with several rotation patterns though:

Zell denver's sig. is a very nice example of color to color gradient.
but on the topic of the wheel. very nice for your first time
Black and Blue are a very hard color choice to mix when not using a gradient. espically when it comes to computer colors. *imo they are much stronger then the real life counterparts.* if you want a blue to "pop" against the black add a little purple to the blue and tone up your black to a very dark grey. then see if you can blend a gradient of the font blue and the background balck and outline the font in a middle of the gradient color.
hopefully that makes sense....
I changed it a few hours ago. But I assume you meant the old deep pink one?
Xuzi, if you want a few gradient pointers, I'll give you a hand catch me on Skype "zell.denver", then I can screen share with you. If I have time, I can go through a bit of Flash with you too.
This is, without a doubt, one of the dumbest things I have ever seen. Every time I watch it, I feel a little bit stupider. So, please tell me, ... why is it so awesome?

Re: OBDesign Flash Ad Attempt « Result #24 Today at 4:29am »
it's def. an improvement over the changing text color. Yet, it lacks definition. very boring in a sense that it just black and white.
the capital letters in the sig are O, B, and D which to me it sounds like obsessive design which is a neat idea but this totally lacks anything like that. remember its the details in which you rely on to grab you customer base.
background color use a larger serif font for the title(give a look of a pro. imo) use a san serif font for the flash words.

Re: lines // a skin concept « Result #25 Today at 4:16am »
i like the color scheme. beige and maroon are great together and the gold accent's are a nice touch to blend the two together. the lines are a distraction tho.
a way you could fix it is by putting the lines in a different way like in the background going off in different directions and fading toward the middle of the background. you could add them as a separator between categories and such.
another idea is perhaps getting rid of the rounded cornors and putting it as uneven lines intersecting each other.

Re: New Forum Layout « Result #26 Today at 4:10am »
the color scheme is fine for a simplistic forum. tho...the background doesn't seem to "melt" into the background behind the forum categories. if you could somhow fix that it would feel different with out really changing anything.

im giving you a 4/5 because i know that your not done. imo tho, its too bright for my taste. if you could include some mirror butons i a shade of blue darker then the background but just as bright i think that would add some nice contrast to the forum.

Re: We're code 3, attempting a 10-38 « Result #33 Today at 3:44am »
personally i can't do what you do with flash...cause your amazing. the only problem is for me its the timing of the flash itself. you have the blue and red flash at the same time is there anyway to layer the flash to have the timing of the spin of the light differ from its brother....don't know if that made sense.
your timing... -----idea timing [x x x] [x x x]-----[x x x]---- [x x x] [2 1 2] [1 2 1]----[1 2 1.25] [1 1.5 2]
just an idea...i know that your busy right now. its just an idea for later..

This script will add a Facebook style Like/Dislike System to your board. Members will be able to like or dislike any post. A thumbs up and a thumbs down image is put at the bottom of every post:
Click on either icon and every member, not guests, will see that you like or dislike that post. On every post that a member has liked or disliked, members will be able to see who likes and who dislikes:
Clicking on the "2 people" link in the above picture would give you a complete list of who likes and who dislikes that post:
You have the option to remove your likes and your dislikes by clicking either (Unlike) or (Undislike).
Edit the red parts if you want to customize the background color or the thumbs up/down images. Place in Global Footers:

Left 4 Dead 3, which should be out by March, as well as Left 4 Dead 4 and 5, which'll both be out by fall.

Seriously, though... MAG & Gran Turismo 5 are the two biggest ones, namely the second one. I've been a GT fanboy ever since the original. I played GT4 for about eight hours straight on the day it was released. As for MAG... it just looks awesome. It'll be a hit or miss with me, though. =/ I honestly don't know how well it'll work. Only time will tell.
Eh. You didn't re-up with AT&T to get a discount on the iPhone, did you? I've been with AT&T for almost a year now and they are just... awful. =\ I really wish I had stayed with Sprint.
Actually, when you've been a customer with them since 1990 (and gone through several buyouts), they tend to treat you a lot better. For instance, after my mom got sick, we had a $900 phone bill. We called them up, explained it, and they upgraded our package for THAT billing period, reducing the bill to just under $200. It pays off to stick with a company.

...my post disappeared? Repost! I've got Verizon. They're not bad. I mean, I don't love 'em, but I get better reception than anyone I know. As good as the commercials suggest? Nah. But still good (where I live, no other provider would work).
Not to hijack your thread, but a similar thing happened to me last night. I have a new BlackBerry Storm2 and it's awesome, but after a botched (somehow) install of a theme, my phone got an error and I could click nothing (though the screen was still "clicky"). A couple minutes later, it locked up. After that, it managed to reset itself and restarted, working fine. I got lucky with that one.
Well, I finally caved. Today I walked into the apple store with a broken Samsung BlackJack I and walked out with a 16gb iPhone 3GS.
About six months ago, my BJ stopped making and receiving calls properly. I'd dial a number but get no dial tone. The call would connect, but I wouldn't hear the other person, and they wouldn't hear me.
Last night, I backed up my phone (like I do regularly) and decided to purge some text messages since my texting application was getting pretty slow. I deleted about 8,000 (max i've had stored on my phone is 17,000 - holy shit!). Whenever I do something like that, my phone has to rebuild the database of texts. I let it run overnight because it usually takes an hour or so, and it was late.
When I woke up this morning, my phone was completely frozen. No buttons worked, including the power button. Took the battery out, put it back in, and it seemed fine.. until i tried to compose a text, at which point the phone froze again.
I left it frozen, in my pocket, during school. At one point, i felt it vibrate. When I looked at it, an error message had popped up - "INAVLID SIM. YOUR SIM CARD IS EITHER MISSING OR INVALID. YOU MAY STILL BE ABLE TO MAKE EMERGENCY CALLS IF YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER SUPPORTS IT."
FUUUUUU-
So I decided I'd had enough. I went into AT&T and picked up an iPhone 3GS. Problem solved, and I'm a very happy customer.
Sounds like my sisters old Razr... She had the texting repaired, but it still freezes everytime she'd go into it...
She now has some sliding phone from US Cellular...

While I'm at it, that rank icon (which I now realize after quoting, doesn't show) will not work for v2. Either you need to make both the v2: Lite and v2: Module versions, or I can force Josh or Ben to do it.
I've tried to input it into my global footers as it says to do, several times, and it just doesn't do anything... is there anything that can be done to fix it so that it works for me??

Okay I am not that good at codes, but I am pretty sure you did not have to edit anything in this one. I went to the support thread, but I am still having problems, I do not have a test board, I have been practicing it on my real board. I have 12 Sub-boards but, it seams its still not working for me. I deleted the code from my main footers since its not working, but it seams like a cool code. So I am willing to give it another chance. I just made my website yesterday, so yeah. Also i am completely new to studio zero so yeah. Anyways does this code, only work for boards that have 12 Sub-boards, or can it work for any amount? Because, I am looking for one that can use any amount. Here is my forum I just made it yesterday, My website clicky please

Re: Integrated Archive uploader « Result #90 on Dec 7, 2009, 9:57pm »
Pretty much everything. That way, if a service (either corporate or a member's personal server) goes offline for what ever reason, it wouldn't matter really, as it would be mirrored on the Archive, which is up pretty much 100% of the time.
It would take weight off like your server, etc.
A bit like the wImg uploader, but "Publish to Archive".
I'm sure they have code and what not. Or an Archiver can begin mirroring stuff.

o.O Oh. Ok, then I'm confused by the rest of your suggestion still. What exactly would we upload? All the skins are still available and stuff. (And they will be for v5 as well.)
Anyways, it's looking good, the only problem I see really it the floating text in the body. I assume you're gonna add headers and what not to the tables?
Virus, Quilford, whoever else I've overlooked: I'll try to finally get caught up after tomorrow (8-page paper due at 9:30am tomorrow), but no guarantees since I'm heading into finals week.
I think whats his name was doing mine, but not sure. Anyhow, I wanted my karma at 0 at the time you do it.
