Well, you can finally secure your thumb drive (pocket drive / flash drive / whatever / credit-card drive in Chris' case, maybe he'll post the picture for us).

I dunno about you, but this makes my day. I feel so safe! ^^

edit: for any of you that don't know, taking a dremel to the edge of a thumb drive wont destroy the actual data, it just means you have to find a new usb tip.

By the way, I've always wondered what the rectangle-shaped holes on the USB tip were for. As far as I can tell, the female USB jack doesn't actually make use of them.

Some female USB jacks do. At work, I have locking jacks that we use to secure peripherals to kiosk displays.

It would take me two minutes to get this thing off. Some one buy it and ship it to my house, I'll prove it.

If some one steals my flash drive, chances are, they aren't getting in. password protected with an an MD5 hash as the pass word. It's something I've been doing for years.

Unless they really know what they are doing, they aren't getting it.
