So I got Cinema 4D this morning. I'm not too great at it yet, but with some practice I have a feeling i'll be able to make some awesome art. Anyway, the first actual piece I've created in C4D (click to enlarge):  Link to it on dA

Not that bad dude. Its pretty good for a first project with a 3D program. The second one is definately better. It is more eye catching than the first one. The texture work on the second one is actually not that bad at all. One of the few things I could recommend is some possible displacement mapping to it to add a bit more depth to it. Overall, this is a pretty good first project.

2nd is better, the first is too ... clean & simple, not that nice. The second is more ... grungey I think ... and is sexier! Love the second piece that you've done with it!
