Is anyone else here into lifting of any kind (olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, bodybuilding) or fitness or conditioning and whatnot? Or is it pretty much just me and Chris? It has recently become a huge passion of mine and I love it.

I lift food from my table to my mouth....

Nah actually I do small weights for some arm stuff, but it's all dynamic not really actual lifting. Baseball players don't normally lift a ton :P

Define "workout." Running? Lifting? Combo?

It depends on where you are and your coach. Normally they do more flexibility exercises for us. Instead of lifting which strengthens muscles we don't use in throwing we use resistance bands which strengthen the shoulder and elbow where most of the throwing stress is. I personally don't lift a ton, but I know most of the varsity does. Squatting and lower body/core stuff is most of what they do because benching and other upper body workouts normally don't help that much.

If I started lifting and working out more I probably would have made it to varsity before senior year (I'm a Junior :P)

I used to do some lifting at least 3x a week, not too long though just a couple of months. Right now I only exercise a bit..jogging, swimming etc.

Swimming works your overall fitness REALLY well. At least from my experience. I used to do a lot of swimming training.
