 "Sketch-o-matic, the machine that takes your awful ideas and turns them into equally awful sketches!" So lately I've been running out of ideas to draw and I have a hard time getting over this block, which is especially frustrating because I have some big art-related plans for the year and I need all the extra practice I can get. This is where you come in! I need you guys to be my idea engine. Suggest anything that comes to mind. Anything at all! No idea is too vague, too vivid, or too insane. Every week I'll be choosing 2-3 of my favorite ideas/suggestions to draw and I'll post them when they are "complete" (or as complete as sketches can be). Some of these will get the full ink and color treatment, but most will just be direct pencil-and-paper scans. My only rule is to avoid specific people or places (celebrities, famous architecture, landmarks, that sort of thing). You really can suggest anything, it can be just one word, a bit of poetry, or whatever your fscked-up head thinks of. So get going (please)! Also, if anyone sees an idea they'd like to draw feel free to post your work too. I'll be compiling all the artwork in this first post. Hopefully we can keep this going for a while! Thanks! This is so many kinds of awesome. I will get back to you, but when I do, I'm giving you a tattoo idea. I would LOVE to sport something this creative and original. I just have to consider my current ideas or maybe come up with something completely new. But yes, so long as YOU don't have a problem with that, let's do it.
