I just got my AP Calc AB test results from the college I'll be attending next month and... damn. Only got a 2. >.< Still waiting for my AP Physics C Mechanics results.

EDIT: Just got another email. Totally got the 3 I needed for AP Physics. I never have to take another science class in my life. w00t.

I only got a 2 on that test as well. I seriously believe the test isn't like anything done in the class.

And this is why I never took an AP class. I don't like the idea of summing up an entire year in one test. Plus, you can't be sure you know everything. I've heard they're really hard. What are they like?

They throw curve balls at you left and right. Multiple choice is easy. Calculator Multiple choice is hard. Free response is easy. Calculator free response is hard. If they didn't have a calculator section, I likely would have gotten a 4 easily.

umm.... isn't a test at the end of the year to sum up everything that you've learned in the year just... an exam?

I wouldn't compare them to an exam. An exam is.... easy, comparatively. I failed both, though. Haha.

The way it is setup. How much security goes into making sure there is no cheating. How hard they are. The way the test is actually laid out. Etc, etc.

APs suck, I find out my results tomorrow from my adviser. I probably did awful on all my exams.

I don't know my results yet for any of my tests... I'm still hoping for 4 4's... but we'll see how that goes.
