When search engine bots are online, that number goes nuts. I've seen it go up to 800 before. It's not even actual people visiting. That's why that number can be considered pretty damn useless.

On a test forum of mine, I made it go up to 23 just by using proxies Like Scorp said, its pretty much useless.

If it bugs you so much make 400 new accounts and log them all in at once. =D

Yeah... it's a little buggy. And it's in a 5 or 15 minute period (I can't remember which... probably 5 minutes though.)
