Most things are exaggerated. It's more exciting that way and people WANT to buy into the excitement. Like Chris said, there is some real data to support it, but it's still generally overhyped. Chicago has a bad rep, too, but I've never had a problem. I've drunkenly wandered into some especially shady parts of town and met some real interesting characters in my time there, but I'm still alive. Just be smart and remember that most of the crime that happens isn't random. Most of these statistics are composed of people who were specifically targeted out. Drive by shootings are dangerous for anyone in the area, but mostly for the intended recipient. Assuming you're just visiting and have no connections with any nefarious people in the area, you're probably gonna be fine so long as you don't do anything especially stupid (which could be said about ANY city or town, regardless of its reputation).

I have this game. I got it because it was £36 for a long time, but then dropped to £25 brand new, so figured "if not now, then when?". I honestly think it's a great game. Though, I love melee games like this, so that definitely factors into the equation. Enemies clumping together isn't a problem either, and rarely break your combo because you have many ways to prevent it happening, so that is no issue. One big thing to do is use the Aquila weapon, it keeps enemies occupied, whilst you then concentrate on others. I love the whole combinations you can do, switching from weapon to weapon flawlessly. No clue if this was possible like this in the other DMC games, because I only ever tried DMC 4 demo. I absolutely love the chainsaw guys though, even though they can be extremely frustrating, they are still funny in my eyes. Edit: I've actually died on this lots of times, but not from actual loss of health. I seem to struggle with having to use angel arm, then when you have to (in mid-air) use the demon one to pull something out.  OR another one, I will jump and the camera angle changes, and I end up going the wrong way, and then I am too far away to recover haha. Both ways suck ass. The camera angle thing has been a problem in nearly every DMC game I've ever played. I don't remember if it was as big of a deal in 4, but the first three for sure. It's especially frustrating when you're trying to get those hard to reach orbs and stuff.

Technically the last game I played was Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for 3DS. I only just made a character and have been too busy for anything else, but I fully intend to start plowing through that game today. I have at least 2 good friends who play it, and possibly more who will in the future, so I gotta take advantage of my down time out here on the ocean to catch up.

They're nice. I've taken the one between Bremerton and Seattle a number of times. Imagine if a ferry sank. RIP vehicles. Luci, we need to go to Pink Gorilla Games and Reset Games. Fuck yeah, dude. First weekend I get back, I get like a 72 or 96 hour liberty (not including my duty day). That being said, I'll have a few days off as soon as we pull in.
