Starring Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman.
I for one never used to be a fan of Cruise. Never had anything against Freeman. Yet lately, the past year or 2, i have actually warmed to Tom quite a lot. He's done some great movies and I seem to enjoy his movies more now than I used to.

I want to see this movie for sure, however, it's been advertised (and still is doing) a lot on a daily basis. This here in the UK, from my experience is never a good thing. When it's advertised as much as this is being, it usually is because it's rubbish.


I really hope not though. The movie doesn't look too amazing and new etc from what I have read and seen, but it's one of those that you just have to want to watch

I for one am extremely looking forward to this movie.
Ever since I saw the first teaser trailer, I thought it actually looked like it could be finally done justice.

It's definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, a movie of the year I am waiting for (along with some other obvious ones, such as Iron Man 3, Riddick etc)

Does anyone else think the trailer looks brilliant?
Although Amy Adams is a good actress, I just don't see her being a great Lois Lane. And Diane Lane as Clark's mother.. can't remember her name. Kind of also seems weird. Who knows though, maybe they will both play the roles spectacularly (I'm sure they will, but I just mean that even though both are good actresses, I can't imagine them in those roles)

I'm not a big fan of Butler, but this does look like it could be great. And as you may well know by now (from the game thread) I love action. Sure I live plots too, in fact I really do. But I for one love a good action movie where it's mindless killing etc.

Oddly enough, I hadn't heard of this until a few days ago, now I seem to be seeing it everywhere

I definitely want to watch this. I was surprised by the first one.
I'm not a fan of Sandler, because he's one of these comedian actors who goes OTT with his comedy all the time. Yet this movie (the first) was really good and funny.

So I will definitely see the second.

I hate to wait 30 seconds, let alone 30 minutes or more

I don't even like to wait for credits to run at the start of a movie. So annoying. I don't mind some though for that, depending on how good/funny they are


For every day life, believe it or not I am a very very patient person, but for stuff like this, I am far from it lol

I couldn't go to bed without beating him last night. So even though I was shattered, I fought him.
Took me 37 minutes, and I restarted 21 times (I assume, cos at the end it says 21 deaths lol).


I was going to blame the fact it took so long, on my tiredness, but that actually isn't the case. That actually helped me be more alert, weirdly. The problem was, for about the first 15 games, he kept throwing the icicles at me. I'd destroy them (I'd either shoot them or go up to him and use a angel weapon (not aquila, the other lt+b)), but some times I wouldn't get to him in time, or I'd think "maybe if I don't shoot them or destroy them, but instead dodge them, he will try a different move and not keep doing this to me".. they are not easy to dodge

I did it though. It's weird that you don't unlock anything after completing it though. I was annoyed/gutted at that


New best for blood palace too: wave 100 (99, I died on 100 - that boss we fight in mission 19, before vergil).

No way has any game made a 1hr cut scene..




I'm not implying anything of the sort. I am simply saying that I personally buy a game for the gameplay and not for the stories. I just love to get straight into the action. It's one reason I don't like RP games, because I don't like just running around doing nothing, looking for stuff etc. I like to constantly be on my toes, and obviously cutscenes interrupts that lol.

1 reason and 1 reason alone: I want to PLAY not watch. I bought a GAME to PLAY.

I completed Dante Must Die, and now I am on Vergil (last mission) on Hell and Hell mode.
I just keep dying with Vergil haha.

Dante Must Die was very easy, since you get lots of red orbs, and simply buy large devil trigger.
But yeah, I actually beat all the bosses without even taking damage and that was on both Hell and Hell + DMD mode. Luckily because they are all big enemies, they do take huge swings. The succubus was actually definitely easier. I always stood right close to it haha. The trick is to stand at the back of the platform away from it, then you can easily get it.

I've attempted vergil so far, about 10 times and I just can't do him on Hell mode
Not giving up though, I got this far so no way.

I watch movies or tv shows for stories, and I play games to have lots of action packed fun

I for one do not follow the stories in games.
As soon as there's a scene between missions, I am hitting A, Back etc to try skip lol.
I hate any game that doesn't allow you to skip. That's the worst. Even then though, I don't watch it, I just stare and start bitching at the tv "omg come on hurry up".

I just wanna get into the action, hence I like FPS and Hack & Slash.

So, do you follow story lines for games? All games or just some? What's your favourite one so far, or what one stands out to you as being great? Which did you think would or could have been great, but was a let down?

I tried doing the above on Hell and Hell mode. I loaded up my game, and only 3 enemies spawned (usually 3 easy enemies, and 4 hell knights spawn - no hell knights spawned).

Once I killed those 3 enemies, nothing else would spawn. I even left the game for 5 - 10 minutes to see if anything would spawn or if it would just allow me to pass lol. Sadly it didn't. So I started Dante Must Die.

I can see the bosses are going to be extremely tough on this one.
At least because I have everything fully upgraded, white orbs now count as red orbs, so I get more to spend for Large Vital + Large Devil trigger.


On DMD, the enemies end up having this weird mist thing on them, that makes them somewhat immune to your attacks. Not immune that they don't get hurt, but immune that you hitting them doesn't stop them from hitting you and you can't knock them into the air etc
This happens when you almost have killed them, it appears.


I am currently on Under Siege (Succubus Boss) mission. I hate that boss on easy and in Bloody palace, can't imagine it in dante must die
