I fail to understand how you could possibly hate Valve. Their games are great and their determination to give their customers their money's worth is far greater than any other company I've seen. Why on earth do you have against them?

Looks to be the first song from their upcoming new album. As was pointed out in the comments, the beginning appears to trail off from The Count of Touscany, the last song on their previous album.

Anyway, this sounds pretty good. Kinda feels like a mix of their sound Scenes from a Memory and Black Clouds & Silver Linings, imo.

I got my beta invite yesterday. Josh, follow Chris's advice. You'll probably implode if you see this terrible excuse of a design.

Haven't had much of a chance to look at anything else. It does look to be pretty feature-rich though.

One of my buddies, who's notoriously hard to please, has a WP7, and he loves it.

I had an iPhone for a few months, and I hated it enough to switch to Sprint and get an EVO. That being said, the EVO is pretty good. Well, it's good with Android 2.3.3 at least. I was annoyed at the laggy UI for the longest time, but the Android update fixes that.

It's been over two years since Meet the Spy was released (a tad bit longer if you include the leak). Now, after much anticipation, the second-to-last Meet the Team video is available: Meet the Medic. I've heard plenty of talk from the lucky few who were able to see it early, and they all said that it was the best yet. After seeing it myself, I have to agree. Valve really outdid themselves with this one. They're really getting the hang of source filmmaker. Now then, how long until they release the tool to the public?

In other news, with the uber ubdate released today, Valve has made a bold move: decrease the price of TF2. Just a bit. They hacked $9.99 off of the price. That really says something since the price used to be $9.99. That's right. As of today, Team Fortress 2 is free-to-play. Details here: www.teamfortress.com/freetoplay/

Basically, a free account gets you a limited backpack and makes it unable for you to wear a hat. If you purchase anything from the Mann Co. store, or if you at-all paid for the game (including those who already owned it), you're upgraded to a premium account. Additionally, those who already own it get a free hat.

I stopped being able to laugh when I realized that EA is the most likely buyer.

We had to wait for the paperwork to be finalized while I was buying my truck, so we just hung out in the lobby. There was a TV with the news on, and they were doing a story about how ford trucks are the most commonly stolen vehicles in this area. Guess what I was buying. >.<

You know, I've never played Halo, Battlefield or Call of Duty.

As for v5, I've signed up for the beta. Once I see what it is, I might end up making a template or two. You know, just for old time's sake.

I played through Duke Nukem Forever the other day. It's honestly not as bad as the reviews make it out to be. Granted, it's nothing special either, but still... good enough entertainment for me. Worth $50/60 though? Probably not.

Since then, I've been playing bits and pieces of Duke Nukem 3D with that new hi-res pack v5 thing. Works pretty well.

I got a text message from a guy who was trying to hit on me. I'm pretty sure he got the wrong number though. I don't recall going to any beaches recently. >.<
